Very expressive fruit aroma with outstanding mature berries, forest fruit joined with delicate hints of coffee and toast coming from the barrels. From the start, it's a remarkable expression of Carmenere thanks to the typical fruit like plums, blackberries and some spicy touches. The tannins are polished and long with a medium body at the end.
The Casillero del Diablo Merlot is bright dark and deep purple. Subtle aromas of chocolate, dark plums, red berries and spices, with hints of vanilla and smoke. Medium-bodied, with lovely tannins, velvety texture, rich and a long, pretty finish.
Elegant and expressive aromas with remarkable touches of fresh strawberries and traces of raspberries. At the end some soft hints of rose petals appear that are complemented with delicate French oak barrel flavours like cedar and tobacco. The palate is elegant with a correct presence of tannins and the barrel notes are well integrated.
The first layer of aromas is highlighted with black forest fruits, predominantly blackberries and wild berries. Soon after the toasted notes of the barreling reveal a greater complexity, complemented with spiced notes, principally of pepper. On the palate, the tannins are firm from the outset and the fruit is mature.
Shiny cherry red colour. On the nose, beautiful ripe red fruit notes stand out (cherry, plum) on a smoky background with liquorice hints. On the palate, it is easy-drinking, with smooth tannins and very fruity. Long and elegant aftertaste.
