Rabbit Ranch Pinot Gris, being a mutation of Pinot Noir, revels in the Central Otago conditions that suit Pinot Noir so beautifully - a long slow ripening period is desirable, with cool nights and warm days as the Autumn harvest approaches. The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Gris has a mineral acidity backbone and an off dry finish that gives the wine a delicious structure and refreshing style.

Apple & Pear Pinot Gris, floral notes of rose water, with melon and hints of spice. A rich and textural palate displaying floral and tropical fruit. A soft, just off dry finish.

The palate is full and generous, sweet tropical fruits combine with characteristic pinot gris texture creating mouth filling length. Pinot gris is delicious sipped solo or enjoyed with seared or grilled fish and simple oven-roasted chicken.

A colourful nose laden with honeysuckle, citrus zest and ripe, white peaches. The palate is stacked with poached pear, guava, fresh pastry and a dash of ginger spice. As Winemakers, Stoneleigh are able to capture the natural early ripening characteristics of the Rapaura sub-region appellation, harvesting the grapes early with a full flavour profile to make a range of wines that are 25% lower in alcohol. Pale straw in colour, this wine shows lifted nashi pear and gala apple characters, with background topical guava and pineapple notes. The palate is lively and crisp with intense nashi pear, apple strudel and spicy flavours, complemented by a well-balanced acid structure.

On the palate flavours of fresh quince and crisp golden apple blend seamlessly with hints of sweet spice.
